Do more, be more.
Do more, be more. So what’s that all about? We’ve kept it largely quiet up to now, but actually we think you should know.
For a number of years now, Walking On Water has sought to make a difference in people‘s lives who know what it’s like to have tough times..
Yes, the last few years have been a nightmare for us, with bushfires, three rounds of floods, three lots of Covid etc etc…it has been truely horrible.
During this time my parents passed away, which was bad enough as we were very close. They left me and my family some inheritance. If it wasn’t for that money, we would not still be in business, so when I say it’s been a horrible time, I mean it. Staying afloat (excuse the pun), has been more than a challenge. However, in the big picture, do we really have any idea?
We have no idea what it’s like to be absolutely starving, No idea what it’s like to not be able to drink clean water, No idea what it’s like to not have access to a hygienic toilet, & of course there is a whole host of things we take for granted such as medical care, education etc, mental health support etc…we could go on all day.
We at Walking On Water are absolutely stoked that people like you take part in our awesome activities, because the bottom line is, not only does it help us to get by, but it also has a direct knock-on effect to the poor. If we possibly can, we just want to make things better.
So if you have used our services before, thank you… You are having more of an impact than you know.
If you haven’t used our services yet, please do! You instantly become part of the bigger picture to make a difference. If you would like more information on our latest projects, please just give us a call. We will be more than happy to talk to you. And we would be doing triple back somersaults if you decided to support us in supporting others..
This is a picture from “Promised Love” orphanage in Uganda. We have been supporting them for some time. We were delighted to be able to fund their first ever water filters, (to help stop the children catching typhoid from drinking polluted water).
We have been able to help fund their food programs, and supported in some of their medical needs too. We hope to do more with your help.
