Health, Wellbeing and Water Sports Go Together…
Walking on Water and Ulladulla Surf Schools have been teaching a range of water sports for 34 years both in Australia & Europe. With years of experience in teaching and coaching we are passionate about sharing the love of water sports with all people.
Our team are particularly keen to expand the work we have been doing with the disadvantaged, the disabled and those with behavioural challenges. We have some great new services available, such as our new health & wellbeing courses for both men & women.
Each activity is tailor made, as with each course or activity week. We strongly believe that everyone should have the chance to engage with water sports irrespective of their capabilities and our ‘can do’ ethos actions our belief. We provide more of our lifeguards on duty with our disabled clients, as opposed to our able bodied clients, not only to ensure everyone is safe but feels safe as well. We have a massive range of water sports options for all and are always eager to discuss our services, so contact us for more information.
We also have educational courses for those who do not fit well in the standard school system of education; instead we use water sports and a series of “pep talks” to educate. These activities are based around encouraging teamwork, mate-ship and learning new skills together aiming toward a common goal.
Our range of water sports activities and courses include:
Surfing, at our surf academy. (Also, part of our mental strengthening / self-esteem building program). Very popular with GP’s in Europe, taking a holistic approach to recovery.
Stand Up Paddle boarding. (One of our tranquility tours).
Kayaking, Single or double. (Also, one of our tranquility tours).
Team SUP. (Our 8-persons stand up paddle board is great for team work, family or group fun and includes coaching on the benefits of working together). Great for families under pressure.
We also have some dry options as well, such as beauty in the bush. Guided tours where clients are encouraged to stop, breathe and reevaluate their priorities in life.

Breathe
A Stand Up Paddle board tour designed to put the brakes on life.

Stop, breathe and breathe some more. Enjoy the serenity on one of our tranquility tours. Surrounded by nature, all of your worries will pale into insignificance. Basic spiritual guidance (if required) reminds you of how beautiful & precious you are, breathing & stretching exercises de-stress the body, whilst the pure air and stunning countryside clear the mind.
Suitable for the complete beginner or those who have paddled before.
Glide
A Kayak cruise up through the mangroves. Content same as “Breathe” but on kayaks instead. Choose, single or double kayaks.

Slide
Learn to surf. An awesome activity for complete beginners, guaranteed to assist with the rapid release of endorphins that will assist with the feeling of positivity and general wellbeing.
For many years, surfing has not only been a sport of passion, but used in holistic treatment programs throughout Europe. Research continues to show its effectiveness and continued growth as a successful therapy (read up on it here). Known for being highly addictive, surfing has been used as a powerful tool to regain balance in life for those who have had challenges that have taken a person’s true self to depths they were never meant to go.
Not only is surfing exhilarating, (even for complete beginners), but your body releases chemicals (such as endorphins) that literally change the way you feel. Combine that with the physical activity of sliding down the face of each new wave, your will feel like you are a waving “good bye” to the past and “hello” to healing. The motion of the ocean has amazing renewal & healing properties.
Re-boot
A multi activity group course over three days designed to refresh, recover and re-boot. (Minimum 4 persons).
Life takes its toll. Circumstances, relationships, tragedy or just the cards you are dealt, all take a piece of the real you.
Find your feet again with a Stand-Up Paddle board tour, (see Breathe above), sit & be blessed with a Kayak tour through the mangroves, (day 2), but then re-boot with our 8 person SUP!! Discover fun & laughter all over again. No experience needed, just metaphorically, sit back & enjoy the ride…your new life has just begun.
