“Cruisers”
Beginner Surfing Lesson 13 years & over.
Price: $99 Duration: 2 1/2 hours. Includes all equipment, all tuition & lifeguard cover. One instructor to five pupils. (Australia’s Best).

“Don’t Just Stand There”.
Intermediate one-day surf course. Two practical surfing lesson sessions & theory. The course covers bottom turns, body rotational movement, speed generation, etc.
Price: $195 Duration: 1 day. All equipment, tuition, and lifeguard cover are provided.

“Don’t Just Stand There…2 days”!!
This intermediate two-day surf course covers all of our “Don’t Just Stand There” course material but with double the content.
Price: $340 Duration: 2 days. All equipment, tuition, and lifeguard cover are provided.

Comp-lete.
Comp-lete is a combination of competition and athlete surf training (hence the name). Comp-lete is the competition-level course that will help you prepare for competition surfing.

Getting Started
Ready to experience the thrill of surfing at beautiful Narrawallee Inlet? Booking your lesson is simple: call us on 0417 360 791 to check availability, choose your lesson type, and confirm your booking. Please bring swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, and a water bottle—we provide all surf equipment including boards, wetsuits, and safety gear. Your lesson begins on the beach with a safety briefing covering ocean conditions, paddling technique, wave reading, and the pop-up movement. Once in the water, your instructor stays beside you, initially helping position you and push you into waves. Moreover, with our small group sizes of maximum 5 students per instructor, you receive plenty of personal attention as your confidence grows and you start catching waves independently. catch their first wave and stand up during their very first lesson!

Do I need to pre-book my surf lesson at Narrawallee?
Yes, pre-booking is essential for all our surf lessons at Narrawallee. We recommend calling us on 0417 360 791 as early as possible to secure your preferred date and time, especially during school holidays and peak summer season when spaces fill quickly.
What should I bring to my Narrawallee surf lesson?
Please bring swimwear to wear under your wetsuit, a towel and change of clothes, reef-safe sunscreen, and a water bottle to stay hydrated. We provide all the essential equipment including quality surfboards, wetsuits, and safety gear, so you don’t need to worry about bringing any surf equipment.
What age can kids start surf lessons at Narrawallee?
Children can start our Rippers surf lessons from around age 5 or 6, depending on their confidence and swimming ability. Our kids’ program is designed for children under 13 years, while teens aged 13 and over join our Cruisers adult and teen lessons. If you’re unsure whether your child is ready, give us a call and we can discuss their suitability.
Is Narrawallee Inlet safe for beginner surfers?

What happens if the weather is bad on my lesson day?
Your safety is our top priority, so we constantly monitor weather and ocean conditions. If conditions at Narrawallee are unsuitable for your lesson, we’ll contact you to either reschedule for another date or move your lesson to one of our alternative Shoalhaven locations where conditions are better. We operate across multiple stunning locations including Mollymook, Ulladulla, Lake Conjola, and Burrill Lake, giving us flexibility to find the best conditions for your lesson.
